Robert Rattray was born in Ireland and brought up in Wales. After studying sculpture at the City and Guilds of London art school for 4 years and travelling widely, he has been working professionally since 1994.
His work is increasingly recognised by collectors with commissions in both the U.K. and Australia.

Portraits and animal pieces, both sculptures and watercolour drawings provide the backbone of his work reflecting his passionate interest in wildlife and his rural roots. He works both from London and his studio in Wales and has exhibited, to date, mainly in the U.K.
